Sworn on Nothing

In this photo of the 'final' swearing in... having botched the first... note that Barack Obama has not got his hand on a bible. Is this valid?

Swearing on a bible is only valid if you believe it to be holy and if you take the book seriously. If you really took it seriously you wouldn't swear on one anyway. But for the swearing in of Presidents a hand placed on a bible is how swearing in is done.

I think the symbolism here is quite deep in terms of what it means for America that the swearing in was botched twice.

If you are someone who looks at situations and mistakes etc. and begins to notice that there is a pattern, you noticed that his first swearing in was invalid. Then this, no holy book on which to make that oath valid. It's not as if he affirmed which you can do if swearing an oath is not according to your religious belief. He swore. You swear on something greater than yourself, unless you choose to affirm. Affirming means we are to take you at your own word. But he swore and swore on NOTHING.

What are the implications of that? That it was a knowing lie? That nothing is greater than he is?

What is it? Whatever it is, it is ominous.

Obama has agreed to cut our nukes while Russia increases hers. Communists are known liars. Their "word" has never been valuable or reliable. You cannot turn your back on them. Obama wants the US to be a sitting duck ? It would seem so. To drop your weapons in the face of international threats of nuclear attack is more than silly.

He is willing to deal with thugs in any nation to aid them in their rise to power while dismantling and destroying the power, finances and might of the United States at the same time.

This philosophical son of Frank Marshall Davis, the Marxist from Hawaii, is the great friend of Russia, China and the Communist regimes to the south of us. This is the man who will stab Czechoslovakia and Georgia in the back when he gets the chance. He is of the ilk of the Clintons and Carters who sold out the Panama Canal to the Chi Coms.

John F. Kennedy was very concerned about weapons in Cuba at our very doorstep but Clinton and Carter gave the Panama Canal over to sworn enemies of the United States. So much for protecting the Constitution for those fellows.

Obama will sign a treaty with a nation that is run by KGB thugs, but will censure Israel for building homes on their own land. This guy is an extreme failure. He needs to be impeached because he is tramping all over the constitution that he swore to uphold....without his hand on any bible at all. What a guy.

He is taking the USA from a representative democratic republic to socialism overnight. That is NOT defending the Constitution which a president is sworn to do. That is dismantling it and substituting something in it's place.

He has strong armed our banks, our car manufacturers and makes personal individual deals with Communists. He is by passing the Constitution completely and should be impeached quite quickly. He has now "reached an agreement with hospitals" over health care.





This guy is a traveling snake oil/used car salesman with all the dirtiest of deals where the US is concerned.
