"Talk-radio icon Rush Limbaugh says the Republican Party has a death wish – and is as dangerous to the United States as the Democrat Party and its czars.

Limbaugh's comments came today as he was discussing the race for Congress in New York's 23rd district, where the GOP picked a liberal nominee to oppose a liberal Democrat, passing over a conservative candidate who wanted to represent the GOP, a candidate now pursuing the seat as a third-party candidate.

"They have a death wish. The Republican Party has a death wish. Gallup: 40 percent of Americans now say they are conservative, 20 percent say they're liberal, 36 percent say they're moderates. And of those three groups, which one is being ignored – not just ignored – which one is being attacked by the Republican Party? The conservatives! " Limbaugh said today.

"It's worse than I thought. I thought this was just based on elitism and northeast moderate liberalism, and embarrassment of the people that the social issues attract to the party. But now it's just plain stupidity," he continued.

"The Republican Party, as constituted is as dangerous to this country as the Democrat Party is. 'But Rush, party loyalty is party loyalty, and the local Republican committee up there has endorsed Scozzafava.' So? I'm saying the two parties are the same. I guess I need to amend it a little bit, but, man, when I saw that they were running ads, as I say, ruined two hours of my day," he said."...from a WND article appearing today.

akes a long time until people take the blinders off and see that the agenda in this country is the same on the left as on the right and it is not an agenda to make American greater or stronger or even to maintain the nation's equilibrium. It's about hack politicians making a living for themselves and keeping you supporting them by pitting one party against another to the detriment of America.

It is amazing to me that even when staring things right in the face people can be blinded to what is clearly there.
George Bush's father, G.H.W. Bush spoke openly of a new world order. Carter and Clinton both helped to weaken the US by giving away strategic ports and by failing to stand up and defend the citizens and property of the United States. They presented a weak kneed stance to the world and got us enmeshed in garbage we could well have avoided.
Bush continued by miring us deep into wars costing us billions and reaping little results for good in the US. With all the talk of fighting terrorism the real method of depriving the terror sponsoring mohammedan states of money to continue funding their murderous policies is never on the table. Drilling for more of our own oil is pushed off the table by both parties again and again and more and more deals are made that are lucrative to our enemies and keep them in business.
The Republicans speak against not drilling until they come to office and then voila, they don't do it either! In fact the enforce what Democrats put in action.

Enemy nations should be closed down tighter than a drum.
It is laughable that some think that our government isn't addicted to oil at any price.
True patriotism would mean shutting down the funding that goes to terrorists. It means not buying from them, and making it hard for them to make a buck.
Paupers can't fight wars.
But you see the same policies keep the borders open and drugs flowing freely.
Do you really think that the US could not shut down borders tight over night?
Why do you think the US persecutes it's own border guards for doing their jobs.
It is because they are *guards* in name only and those borders keep drugs flowing just as they are supposed to.
Drugs for guns, guns for favors, war for oil.. sleeping with the enemy.
It's called dirty politics and we are up to our necks in it all.
Look at the politics in Nicaragua under Carter and Reagan. How dirty it all was.
We set up dictators , then knock them down again.
We created the taliban , we created Saddam. This is our presidential messes right out there and a man like Rush with all his intelligence thinks that US policy changes that much from one administration to another?
If so why are we still in Iraq when Obama said we'd be out in months?
It's because they want to be there.
That stupid war has gone on longer than WWI and II. It's a travesty that a super power like the United States is still fighing cave dwellers after years and years.
The answer is, they don't want to win here anymore than they wanted to win in Korea or Vietnam.
Just because you don't see the maiming of lives going on doesn't mean it isn't happening.
More and more commercials are played about helping our returning military heroes with post traumatic stress disorder.

McCain ran no campaign. Didn't that cause anyone to wonder a bit? He bit at his own running mate like a little rabid dog. He undermined himself every step of the way and no one said much about it. Certainly the Republicans were pretty quiet about it.
Why is that?
Sarah Palin, who has little experience but was interested in keeping the republic alive and preserving freedoms, was run into the trash heap by both parties. It was the people that kept her afloat with popularity, not the parties.

Today, everyone is wondering why Newt Gingrich(republican with quite an iffy past) would support Dede Scozzafava(supported by the Working Families Party which has close ties to ACORN) who is a carbon copy of the Democrat running against her.
Well yes, why would he if he didn't really agree with what they stand for?

Why aren't these Republicans supporting a man like Doug Hoffman, who seems like a common citizen who wants to keep freedom alive? ( I say seems as they all seem to fall short after a while, sadly)
The answer is simple. It is because they don't agree with Hoffman on anything.
They don't want to keep your freedoms alive. They don't want to stop terrorism at all. Not really. Not anymore than they care about stopping drug traffic into the nation. Its all talk and sham.

The Democrats bring down the nation quickly with childish socialistic plans that have failed all around the world. The Republicans do it more slowly with money grubbing plans that don't work in the long run either.
Both parties are political hacks who think they are above the little people and don't much care for anything but making money for themselves. Both parties have sucked the nation dry and are still greedy for more , more.

The exact same policies continue on and on and barely anyone says a word about it. They are having too much fun with party politics to care much about the outcome.
It's not about Republicans or Democrats.Both parties are way down the toilet at this point.
It's about keeping America alive and well and neither party can do that anymore.

American politics is all about incompetent people working to line their pockets at the nation's expense.



Note: would a third party pull America out of the mess it is in?
Not easily. Politics is so mired in evil and rot, the world is such a dirty place that it would take good people a while to learn to maneuver around in it and that leaves open the possibility for them to fall into the hellhole too.
I see only one hope for things and it does not lie in human hands anymore. It's gone way beyond that now I think.
