It&#39;s called the &#39;&#39;dumbing down&#39;&#39; of society.<br />But you are not alone - I&#39;m Israeli &amp; let me tell you, we have the same phenomenon here. Bad education, a biased media, irresponsible self-serving politicians, &amp; an incredible apathy &amp; complacency among large segments of the population. We&#39;re one step away from having a state-run media.
