I&#39;m not a big fan of reality shows. I feel more embarassed, it seems, when I watch them than what those in them feel. LOL, hope that came out right. I&#39;ve never seen one episode of Survivor, not to say I&#39;m a prude. One reality show I did enjoy (if you can call it that) was &quot;Fact or Fiction&quot; when Jonathan Frakes was hosting it. They selected physically attractive but morally and ethically challenged contestants.<br /><br />The producers set them up in situations to see which contestants acted honorably such as opening a door for someone or not picking up another patient&#39;s medical file when left alone in a doctor&#39;s office.<br /><br />The contestants didn&#39;t find out the true nature of the show until after they were booted off.<br /><br />But which was worse? The contestants and their behavior or the producers for setting them up and videotaping undercover?<br /><br />Not an appealing show at all.<br /><br />The John and Kate Plus Eight is a tragedy. So too the guy from Supernanny who was arrested for physically smacking his little two year old daughters in the mouth with the back of his hand and calling them B&#39;s.<br /><br /><br />TV needs to return to scripted shows. Personally, though, I&#39;ve really fallen for the shows on PBS.<br /><br />Last week they showed several programs on airplane crash survivors. Very fascinating stuff on true survivors.
