Reverse Speech

Reverse speech is frighteningly revealing, if true.
The words heard backwards are not the backwards pronunciation of the forward word at all. Instead it is a completely different word revealing what some believe to be the underlying real thought.

I don't know if its true but it is very interesting and curious.

"The Most Contaminated Nuclear Site in the United States"

Hanford nuclear weapons site is just 200 miles southwest of Seattle and is the site of one of the most troubling ongoing nuclear leakages in the United States. Simply stated the plant is falling apart and in dire need of repair. It has been thought that a very large double shell nuclear waste holding tank is leaking boiling radioactive chemical waste.
The holding tank is 41 years old and now more incidents involving workers showing contamination suggest that a second tank is also failing after a tunnel collapse.

  An article in the Wall Street Journal by Jim Carlton cited a joint letter by Governor Kate Brown of Oregon and Washington Governor Jay Inslee as stating, “The May 9th incident should serve as an urgent reminder of the challenges in cleaning up the Hanford site that require a rededication of attention and resources in order to ensure progress continues moving forward,” the governors said in their letter to the Republican president. “The longer it takes to clean up the facilities and structures that store mixed chemical and radioactive waste, the farther and farther they get past their useful lives—causing degradation and more risk of failing.”

While many demand more nuclear plants they do not understand that there is a lack of knowledge and ability to control what we already have.
When you consider that handling nuclear waste is an eternal problem with no solution, it should give pause to any sane person.
Consider Fukushima where they have no idea what to do to stop the meltdown and contain the radiation.

Washington Public Health ran an article on Hanford titled, Hanford's Lethal Legacy.

 Hanford is currently the most contaminated nuclear site in the United States and you can read more on this at Wikipedia.

The infrastructure of the USA is failing. Roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, trains, electrical grids and nuclear facilities.
It is past time to demand action on these things before it is too late.

The Independent Press?

John Swinton, editor of the New York Times in the 1880's, made this toast to the 'independent press' at a banquet held in his honor.
The remarks seem to come full circle to our time today.

"There is no such thing in America as an independent press, unless it is in the country towns. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write his honest opinions, and if you did you know beforehand that it would never appear in print.

I am paid $150.00 a week for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with—others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things—and any of you who would be so foolish as to write his honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job.
The business of the New York journalist is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and to sell his race and his country for his daily bread.

You know this and I know it, and what folly is this to be toasting an "Independent Press." We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping-jacks; they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men.
We are intellectual prostitutes."

Swinton began his own newspaper later where he attacked the robber barons of his day.
By the way, $150 in Swinton's day would be $$3,393.65 today.

Trump VS Bill Maher

It is interesting to see Dems and Republican trading barbs back and forth as if one side has any semblance of moral high ground.

Bill Maher was inappropriate toward Ivanka Trump?
Sure he was but I think Trump beat him to the punch with his own trashy remarks about his daughter to Howard Stern.  What kind of werido father talks about his kids like that?
Trump is no prize. He is  very common.
There is a reason Trump was used as the template for Biff Tanner in "Back to the Future".
Both right and left are disgusting and trashy.

Fukushima: worse and far worse

New fires at Fukushima spreading fall out toward the US west coast where die offs continue
to top world records and radiation levels are increasing all the time.
Think twice about the food you eat from the west coast and anything imported from Japan.
If you are on the west coast consider adding Miso soup to your diet pronto. It is a good hedge against the effects of radiation and showed its power after the horrors of Nagasaki and Hiroshima,
Fukushima, the disaster that keeps on giving, as I like to call it is just showing itself to be worse every single day.
Levels in tuna are high, salmon the same. Very sad.  How about nuts from California? Almonds seem effected.

Why doesn't main stream news talk about this?
Nuclear energy is America's baby. Our pride and joy which we exported around the world.
Robert Oppenheimer declared "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" a quote from the Bhagavad Gita. Oppenheimer also understood by his own admission that nukes had existed in ancient times. Nuclear produced glass cities are found in India and  the same glass is all over the Sahara desert from prehistoric times.

There are no experts in nuclear accidents. No one has a clue about what to do and again I ask you what kind of mentality uses devices they do not fully understand for common technology? Oppenheimer admitted that when they tested at Alamagordo New Mexico they had no idea whether the entire atmosphere of the world would be ripped away.
This is insanity at its worst.
What kind of irresponsible moronic people decide that nuclear power and weapons are a great idea when they are totally uncontrollable, and there is no remedy for accidents, etc ?
Yet this is the mentality ruling the world today. No, this is the mentality that has always ruled the world since the day Adam decided he knew more than his Creator.

We are a pathetic lot.  We must try to do better.
