Earthquakes and Volcanic Activity.
Increases in earthquakes and volcanic activity are happening all over the world.
Fracking in the USA is also causing swarms of earthquakes. You can't extract liquid from under the earth and not expect things to collapse under your feet. What is under the earth supports the crust of the earth. Remove it and all hell breaks loose but greed dictates what goes.
The video shows the swarms of earthquakes and their relationship to oil pumping, drill points and fracking situations.

More Earth Cracks Appearing ..Earth Changing
Arizona Geological Survey is looking into a 2 mile long crack that appeared in Pinal County in Arizona or was first observed in 2014.
The 2 mile long crack is 30 feet deep in places and 10 feet wide.
Forbes' Trevor Nace reports:
The fissure is a surface expression of a larger open void underground, which ultimately is a result of desiccation due to aquifer drawdown from local populations and agriculture. Agriculture in the region relies on drawdown of the underlying porous sandstone aquifers for potable water. This, in turn, causes significant compaction of sediment that was otherwise held up by water in the sediment pore spaces. After decades of aquifer depletion, the underlying sedimentary rocks eventually fail and cause fissures or cracks to appear both in the subsurface and surface of the Earth.
Arizona is not alone and cracks are appearing in South Africa and Antarctica as well.

Methane Leaking at Bayou Corne
The link to this video of methane bubbling up on Bayou Corne in Louisiana was posted in the comments on Fracking America.
I am embedding the video here to show the devastation that is occurring around the sink hole.
It is troubling. The people who recorded this took a huge risk in boating over this mess to share what is going on.
I don't think we have seen or heard the last of all this trouble, but I pray I am completely wrong.

Louisiana SinkHole.... 100 Hiroshima Size Bombs if it Explodes
A 2nd post for Tuesday Evening....
any explosion
" would be
in the range of
one and a half B83 thermonuclear (hydrogen) bombs,
the most
powerful
United States weapons
in active service."
Sink holes are in the news because they are getting more frequent and much, much larger. The ground in the USA has been compromised badly over many years. This sink hole has methane gas lurking beneath it as well.
The huge and dangerous sink hole in Assumption Parish, Louisiana is over 7 football fields in size and is still growing larger and sinking deeper and is moving toward a large butane containing cavern.
Trees in the area are dying fast and it will probably become a huge lake. A Poison lake.
As if this were not enough, sickness is accompanying the sink hole with 'every other' household finding itself with one or more family members feeling ill.
Another concern is that the destabilization of the ground could lead to massive earthquakes in areas where these massive sink holes are appearing.
Bobby Jindal has failed to visit the area since the crisis began back in early summer. Residents are now demanding his action.
A letter to Jindal from residents asking for a visit was blown off by his office.
See "Where is Bobby?... Anywhere but Bayou Corne"
Back in July people in the Bayou Corne area of Assumption Parish began noticing gas bubbling up out of the ground. By August a giant sink hole was discovered.
Now this hole was formed when the salt dome collapsed beneath it.
Why did it collapse? Because we mine the salt by pumping water into the dome , then we extract the brine. The result is an empty cavern.
Some of these huge caverns which go down thousands of feet and hundreds of feet wide, however, are no longer empty as they are used to store a variety of deadly materials like hydrocarbons and pressurized butane gas.
The cavern beneath Bayou Corne has breached even more and deisel fuel and hydrocarbons are leaking into it and to the surface.
They have tried to drill around these caverns but had to stop because they are running into flammable gases underground and it is far too dangerous to continue.
The entire dome is over 3 miles long by 1 mile wide and fears are that the entire thing is collapsing and filling with pressurized gases.
They are not considering emptying the caverns.
A large cavern near the sinkhole contains 1.1 MILLION barrels of pressurized butane gas. Homeland Security is extremely worried and says the area is irreparably damaged and will lead to more and more sink holes.
1.1 Million barrels is 42,000,000 gallons of butane. Butane is extremely high powered and combustible.
The potential for explosion is huge and a news blackout has been placed over the area to keep panic from developing.
According to investigations by the Examiner, any explosion " would be in the range of one and a half B83 thermonuclear (hydrogen) bombs, the most powerful United States weapons in active service."
That is equivilent to 100 Hiroshima sized bombs.
It is located next to the Waterford Nuclear Plant. This plant joins 100 others in the USA that are built on geologically unstable areas.
This past October the entire area suffered an earthquake that collapsed the entire edge of the 3 mile salt dome. Homes in the entire area are having methane gauges installed and need constant ventilation.
Tremors are continuing.
Things are getting worse daily.
For more information, especially if you live in the area, see the Louisiana Sinkhole Bugle.

Beautiful scene disguises Japan's troubles |
There have been 10 earthquakes of magnitude 4 and greater since Thursday of last week according to ENE news.
Meanwhile 33,000 tons of tsunami debris is sailing toward the west coast of the United States.
It is thought that it may contain radioactivity.

Earth Changes

The world is undergoing big changes.
As the gulf stream has moved farther northward, change , drastic change is inevitable as the climate changes.
With climate change comes coastline reconfiguration, changes in agriculture, business, nanufacturing, technology ,etc.
Places that are now inhabitable may become inhospitable and uninhabitable.
Nothing will remain the same.
Politics will also change as attitudes will begin to change.
We are beginning to see the effects of this change in the Gulf stream.
Whitley Streiber even wrote a book about a true to life scenario of change and it was made into a movie called 'The Day After Tomorrow'.
Glen Gawarkiewicz, a senior scientist in WHOI’s physical oceanography department, and five of his colleagues recently published their findings that in October of 2011, the core of the Gulf Steam at the edge, or break, of the Continental Shelf had pushed 125 miles north of its usual position near Georges Bank. It was the farthest north at that longitude that the Gulf Stream had ever been observed.Today you can see power trucks from as far south as Alabama working on New Jersey's power lines to get things going again.
But here we are few days later waiting for yet another Nor'easter.
It is already very cold. You can see your breath when you are outside. Temperatures are ready to dip even lower, winds are picking up and there is a high wind and flood watch in effect for the coast tonight.
With the protective sand dunes gone, this will mean even more damaging impact on the area.
'Sandy' also cut new inlets between the ocean and the bay through the barrier island and pennisula, therefore the main coast is no longer as protected as it once was and NJ is vulnerable to even worse flooding now.
A heavy storm drags dunes and sand out to sea to create a barrier there.
This is how nature prevents huge sea waves from hitting the shore too directly.
It is a good thing and eventually the sand and dunes can come back. But, it takes time to come back and repeated storms that happen after a big storm do not allow for that.
Also if the new inlets are not closed up, the bay side will become more ocean than bay and the coast line will decrease.
Sandy was a record breaker .

LLM at Seaside Heights |
Sandy saw New York Harbor with 20 foot waves, a new record.
The Jersey shore had 30 and more footers breaking on the shore.
Had Sandy remained a hurricane on the same path as the super storm, the damage and flooding, including to New York City , would have been catastrophic.
Effect on People
Tough times can recreate a person's attitude and personality. There are all kinds of reactions to these things by various kinds of people.
Tough times expose the heart to the light and show us where we are right and where we are wrong and where we need to change and grow.
They also remind us how tiny people really are in the scheme of things.

Earth Changes: Japan Split
![]() |
Earthquake crack ,Miyagi prefecture Japan |
This Saturday, July 23rd, Japan was hit with another earthquake, this time a 6.5 on the Richter scale and yet again it hit in the same area that was previously devastated by the giant 9 and the huge tsunami.
In that quake and tsunami over 22,000 lives were lost.
Significant with this latest earthquake is yet another split in the earth.
If you are interested in following the complete Fukishima story and ongoing crisis, you will find daily reports HERE.
The dire and terrible situation for northern Japan is not over yet by a long shot.

Earth Changes: More Sinkholes

Notice the perfectly round holes that have opened up in Guatemala
They say sink holes are a natural occurrence
in Guatemala. But why are they so perfectly round?
Note the hole at left is round on the floor too.
How does that happen? It is as if someone took a cookie cutter and cut the hole out.

China saw giant sinkholes forming in record numbers in 2010.
Sinkholes around the Dead Sea have been on the increase in recent years as well HERE
Even places like Florida and Ohio are seeing increases in sinkhole formation lately.
Ideas about the cause ranges from oil drilling to water damage to HAARP.
Whatever it is, they are increasing all over the world.

Earth's Axis Shifting
The Chilean earthquake of 2010 shifted the earth's axis by 3 inches or 8 cm.
It shortened the day by a few miliseconds.
The Japan earthquake has added to this effect by moving not only Japan as much as 14 inches to the west, but by moving the earth's axis a whooping 17 centimeters and shortened the day even more.
The Sumatran earthquake shortened the day by 6.8 microseconds and shifted Earth's figure axis by 7 centimeters, or 2.76 inches.
No figures on the effects of the New Zealand mega quakes seems to be available but the earth is on the move.
We already see that volcanos are more active, there are more large earthquakes than usual etc.
Now thousands of people are noting that the sunrise and sunset seem off. The sun, they say, seems to be rising more to the northeast than previously and setting more northwest than before. So despite scientists saying these changes are "not noticable" hundreds of thousands are indeed noticing.
